On May 9th, RCSII hosted the First Amsterdam Sustainable Finance Conference at the Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club. More than 100 researchers, professionals, and policymakers came together to share and discuss new research on the challenges and opportunities in sustainable finance, with a focus on how capital markets can contribute to a more equitable and resilient future. Get a glimpse of this great day in the video below!
The main room hosted five keynotes and a panel session. In the panel session, Jules van Binsbergen, Sandra Phlippen, Neal Hegeman and Paul Smeets discussed the implications of the report from Mario Draghi on how to make Europe competitive and sustainable. In the parallel sessions, researchers from RCSII and other research institutes presented their newest work.
